Activities

The orchestra performs annual concert series in Auckland, entertains Auckland community at parks, gardens, and retirement villages as well as out of town and for special events or functions.

The orchestra takes part in FAME (Federation of Australasian Mandolin Ensembles) annual music camps and international festivals.

Training

training

Mandolinata aims to foster an interest in, and to encourage the playing of, the mandolin family and related instruments. So, there is a training programme in place to teach anyone interested in learning how to play mandolin related instruments. Please contact us if you would like to join. The learners group gets together on Monday nights around 6.30 pm before the regular rehearsal starts at 7.30 pm.
